In September, Arco turns into the climbing capital. The best-known and oldest competition tournament in climbing is at home here.

There are many big names in climbing among the title holders
Among the men we find Ramòn Julien Puigblanque, the Czech Adam Ondra, the French Francois Legrand, Francois Lombard, and Alexandre Chabot, the Russian Eugeny Ovtchinnikov and, as the best German, Stefan Glowacz.

Among women, the Austrian Angela Eiter leads the all-time rankings, followed by the American Lynn Hill, the Belgian Muriel Sarkany, the Slovenian Janja Garnbret, the French Sandrine Levet and the American Katie Brown.
